Arduino Day 2017 is a worldwide birthday celebration of the Arduino microcontroller, bringing together Arduino people and projects. As of March 20, over 400 events are planned in over 75 countries around the world, and the list is growing! More information on Arduino Day can be found at http://day.arduino.cc.

Our local event is being organized by MoCo Makers and Montgomery Village Arduino Meetup, two Meetup groups of Makers based in Montgomery County, Maryland. Our event is open to the public, from the young to the used-to-be-young, and should be a great family event. Come to see and interact with a variety of displays and demos by Makers and Arduino enthusiasts from in and around Montgomery County, Maryland. Some of the projects planned for our event include:

– “About Arduinos” sessions
– Arduino Kaleidoscope
– Dot-pixel Camera Display
– Arduinos in Model Railroading
– Drones
– Robotics
– 3D Printing
– Video and Photo Slideshows
– and more cool things we haven’t even thought up yet 🙂

Light refreshments will be available.

Come on out and prepare to see much cool stuff!
